I’ve been writing since before I could hold a pen, dictating stories to my parents. I love making complex topics easily understood, and I appreciate the power of a good story.
I’ll write about anything, but I specialize in science, particularly medicine, biomedical research, neuroscience, microbiology, molecular biology and psychology. I’ve also written about small-scale farming and am currently the About.com Guide to Small Farms.
My work has appeared in numerous publications, including Proto, Wondertime, Miller-McCune, Dartmouth Medicine Magazine, spy software, Spezzatino, and Civil Eats. I contribute regularly to Proto and Dartmouth Medicine Magazine.
